10.00 | Sunday service | St Giles’ Church

Sunday Club at St Giles’ meets during the 10am service, except during school holidays and on the last Sunday of the month, (when it is our 4forAll service). Children of all ages are welcome to join us as we explore stories from the Bible with lots of fun and creative activities. Sunday Club lasts about half an hour, after which we rejoin the adults to share what we have done and join in the rest of the service. If you’re new to St Giles’ or just visiting, and would like to come to Sunday Club, speak to one of our welcomers who will introduce you to the Sunday Club team.

Little Lights Baby & Toddler Group

Sunday School09.30 – 11.30 | Every Tuesday & Thursday | St Giles’ Parish Centre

Age Range: 0 – 4 Years
£1.80 per child including snacks, £2 for two or more hildren.
Contact: Pru Ferguson or Cheryl Middlemass – littlelights@stgilesdurham.org.uk

Little Lights is St Giles’ baby and toddler group. We welcome all families or carers and children, whatever their faith or none into this safe and comfortable environment which gives parents a chance to catch up together while children play in a structured, well resourced and attractive area inside our fabulous church building.

The sessions are supervised by fully trained and qualified DBS checked staff who are also members of the church community. Most of us are parents or grandparents ourselves so we can be a reassuring ear for people with newborn babies who want to share their concerns or just chat about their week.

Little Lights was founded seven years ago as an expression of the church’s  commitment to everyone in the community. We value every child and parent equally and have some quality, relaxing, shared fun time together with the babies and toddlers. Every new child is welcome and the drinks and snacks are freshly made and suitable for all  tastes.

In 2013, Little Lights was voted into the top 3 parent & child groups in Durham by members of Netmums! We look forward to welcoming you to the group. Please email any enquiries to Pru or Cheryl at the address above.
